Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 22 Dec 2014 09:22:58 -0800 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 2242 was the source of an M1.0 event at 12/22/01:49 UT and a few C-class events. 2242 continues in decay phase losing sunspot area, sunspot count and magnetic complexity. NOAA 2241 (S10W40) is also decaying and quiescent since the M1.0 event on 12/21. C-class events expected with the chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2242 on December 22 at 12:30 UT is: S18W64 (Solar X = 834", Solar Y = -288") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
