MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was at a very low level for the past 24 hours. Target region NOAA 2268, S10W41, continues in decay phase. It is still possible that 2268 will produce additional low-level events but the target will switch to NOAA 2277 today. NOAA 2277 is mostly unchanged maintaining its F-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. C-class events are probable with the chance of an isolated M-class event as well in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2277 on January 31 at 16:30 UT is: N08E37 (Solar X = -582", Solar Y = 215")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
