Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 2 Mar 2015 17:05:34 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA region 12290 has increased in flare activity as it rotates over the North West limb. Over the past 24 hours this region has produced several C-class events and 3 low M-class events, the largest being an M3.7 flare on 02-Mar-2015 at 15:10 UT. More C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a reasonable chance for an occulted low M-class event before NOAA 12290 rotates completely out of view. The position of NOAA 12290 on 02-Mar-2015 at 17:00 UT is: N20W90, ( 909", 328" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
