Date: Tue, 17 Mar 2015 17:15:33 +0000

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 12297 has continued to decrease in both size and complexity as it approaches the western limb. As a result, solar activity has diminished substantially with only a few C-class flares since the last message. The target region retains some mixed polarity flux in its trailing spot that may produce additional intermediate level events over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12297 on 17-Mar-2015 at 16:35 UT is:
S17W62, ( 815", -226" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
