Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels, but the background X-ray flux is increasing gradually due to an emerging region in the northeast quadrant. The region has been designated as NOAA 12360 and has produced a number of low-level events over the past 24 hours. This new target region currently has a beta configuration and is developing rapidly. Chance for increased activity over the next day or two.
The position of NOAA 12360 on 4-Jun-2015 at 07:35 UT is:
N12E48, ( -689", 200" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
