Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. NOAA 12434 has grown in spot area and number of spots over the past 24 hours and is now classified as a beta-gamma/C-type sunspot group. This region has produced nine C-class flares since the last message, including the largest event (a C3.6 on 15-Oct-2015 at 13:42 UT). Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a reasonable chance for an M-class event.
The position of NOAA 12434 on 15-Oct-2015 at 17:30 UT is:
S08E50, ( -735", -196" )
