MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2473 has decayed significantly losing sunspot area and count and it has also simplified magnetically losing its delta configuration. The largest event 2473 produced in the past 24 hours was a minor C2.5 event at 12/29/20:19. Another C-class event is possible and there is still a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 to 48 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2473 on December 30 at 15:35 UT is: S21W42 (Solar X = 611", Solar Y = -317")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
