MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target EFR failed to continue in growth phase and was mostly quiescent producing only minor B-class events. The target will switch back to NOAA 2521. 2521 has decayed in sunspot area but retains mixed polarities in the trailing plage portion. 2521 was the source of two C-class events since the last message. The largest was a C1.2 at 03/15/09:29 UT. B-class events possible with a slight chance of another C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2521 on March 15 at 15:30 UT is: N19W18 (Solar X = 282", Solar Y = 421")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
