Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2016 17:08:56 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a very low level. Yesterday's target region has been numbered as NOAA 12536 and has been designated as a beta/D-type sunspot group classification. This region has grown in spot area and number of spots since the last message and produced 3 B-class flares, including the largest magnitude event of the period (a B7.2 flare on 27-Apr-2016 at 03:47 UT). Further B-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for C-class flares. The position of NOAA 12536 on 27-Apr-2016 at 16:00 UT is: N15E46, ( -666", 296" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
