Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 10 May 2016 17:00:14 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity continues at a very low level. The target region NOAA 12542 was the source of several B-class events due to filament interaction and eruption. 12542 has been classified as a complex D-type/beta-gamma magnetic configuration with increasing in sunspot area and number of spots significantly. It is continuously showing positive flux emergence at the edge of the main negative spot. C-class activities are likely in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12542 on May 10 at 21:43 UT is: N12W10 (161",247") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
