Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 11 May 2016 13:09:45 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity has been at very low levels since the last message. Target region NOAA 12542 was the source of several B-class events, the largest being a B8.2 at 14:14 UT on May 11. 12542 was reclassified as a C-type region but remaining its complex beta-gamma magnetic configuration. It is displaying bright H-alpha plage and surges, with the potential to produce some low C-class activities. The position of NOAA 12542 on May 11 at 17:43 UT is: N12W22 (349",243") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
