Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 24 May 2016 10:39:10 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains at a very low level. The target region NOAA 12546 was the source of a C1.4 (at 10:16 UT on May 24) and a few B-class flares. 12546 is currently the only region with sunspots on the visible disk. It has decayed to an Alpha/H-type region, but continues to show surges in H-alpha images. Minor events are possible in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12546 on May 24 at 14:17 UT is: S07W58 (798", -102") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
