Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 26 May 2016 10:46:54 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at low levels. The largest event since the last message was a C1.1 flare at 13:31 UT on May 26 produced by NOAA 12548. 12548 was also the source of a few B-class events, including a B9.3 flare on May 25. Today the target will switch to 12548 that has a D-type/beta magnetic configuration. Yesterday's target NOAA 12546 also produced a C1.0 flare on May 26, but it is now nearly rotated over the visible solar disk. Further low-level C-class activities are likely in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12548 on May 26 at 14:17 UT is: N13W30 (462", 231") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
