MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2550 (N15W39) has significantly decayed losing sunspot count, area, and its mixed polarities. 2550 was only able to produce one minor B-class event since the last message. The target will switch to recently emerged NOAA 2551. 2551 has developed a D-type/beta sunspot group in the past 24 hours. B-class events are possible with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event if 2551 continues in growth phase.
The position of NOAA 2551 on May 31 at 14:17 UT is: N04W53 (Solar X = 755", Solar Y = 072")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
