Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 9 Jun 2016 15:03:41 -0400 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity has increased since the last message due to the continued development of the target region NOAA 12552. The region has increased in both size and complexity, and was the source of two C1 flares as well as several B-level events. It is currently classified as a beta region but is showing signs of polarity mixing in its core. Additional C-level activity expected over the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12552 on 9-Jun-2016 at 14:45 UT is: N17W44, ( 629", 272" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
