Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 7 Jul 2016 14:26:26 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The solar activity has increased slightly. The largest event since the last message was a C5.1 flare at 07:49 UT on July 7 produced by an emerging flux region (EFR) in the southwest quadrant (S16W35). This EFR was also the source of a few minor B-class events, but now has decayed somewhat. A new region near the southeast limb is rotating onto the visible disk, which has the potential to produce some low-level activities in the next few days. It will be today's target. The position of the target on July 7 at 17:00 UT is: S06E75 (894", -100") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
