Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at the C-level with events emanating from various active regions. The largest events from the past 24 hours have been from NOAA 12573 near the eastern limb. With NOAA 12572 now behind the western limb, NOAA 12573 shall be the new target region. The region is classified as having a beta configuration and appears to be undergoing flux emergence in its leading spots. Further C-class activity likely.
The position of NOAA 12573 on 8-Aug-2016 at 08:20 UT is:
N04E66, ( -863", 23" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
