MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2585 has decayed within the trailing portion of its E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group. The opposite leading polarity umbra is now located mostly outside of the trailing polarity spot's penumbra losing the magnetic delta configuration. 2585 was the source of 4 B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B5.3 at 09/10/08:23 UT. B-class events probable with a chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2585 on September 10 at 05:45 UT is: N07W53 (Solar X = 758", Solar Y = 044")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
