Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 16 Oct 2016 09:50:58 -0600 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a very low level. There were a few B-class events emanating from the west limb region NOAA 12599 (S15W91), including the largest one, a B7.5 at 11:27 UT today. Yesterday's target is still flare quiet. Today we will watch NOAA 12602 with a beta/ C-type classification. 12602 is showing some mixed polarities in its intermediate portion. In its northwest locates a filament displaying some oscillations. Only minor activities are possible in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12602 on October 16 at 15:30 UT is: N06E06 (-100", 5") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
