Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region, designated as NOAA 12612, was the source of a B2.7 event (being the largest one) in the past 24 hours. 12612 was classified as an Alpha/H-type sunspot group, but it seems to have a beta configuration. It is showing some surges in H-alpha images. B-class activities are expected with a chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12612 on November 24 at 14:30 UT is:
N07E59 (-828", 104")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
