Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 30 Nov 2016 09:20:14 -0800 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Target region NOAA 2615 produced an M1.2 event at 11/29/23:38 UT. 2615 was also the source of numerous B- and C-class events. The region increased its sunspot area but lost spot count and decreased its magnetic complexity within its intermediate portion. B- and C-class events probable with another M-class event possible in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2615 on November 30 at 14:30 UT is: S08E42 (Solar X = -646", Solar Y = -147") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
