Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a very low level with the GOES X-ray flux flat at ~A7. The target region NOAA 12622 remains an Alpha/A-type sunspot group. It is almost rotating over the west limb, displaying some minor activities due to filament interaction. We will watch this region for a further 24 hours. Only very low-level events are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12622 on January 1 at 14:30 UT is:
N11W80 (943", 194")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
