Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Tue, 10 Jan 2017 10:51:09 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased slightly, though the visible disk is still spotless. Numerous B-class flares (the largest one being a B8.8 at 12:56 UT today) were produced by an emerging flux region (EFR) near the northwest limb, which is very close to yesterday's target plage region. Today we will watch this EFR. Additional high-level B-class activities are possible in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on January 10 at 14:30 UT is:
N15W79 (900", 250")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
