Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 28 Jan 2017 22:19:03 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12629 was stable in both spot area and number of spots over the past 24 hours, remaining classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. The only flare since the last message was a C2.8 from NOAA 12627 on 28-Jan-2017 at 20:56 UT. However, NOAA 12629 will stay as the target region because NOAA 12627 is currently rotating over the West limb. B-class flares are probable in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12629 on 28-Jan-2017 at 22:00 UT is: N15E06, ( -97", 347" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
