MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2635 (N13W75) has decayed significantly and is now spotless. The target will switch to NOAA 2636 located in the northeastern quadrant. 2636 and not 2635, as was mentioned in the message yesterday, was the source of the B2.3 event at 02/15/12:42 UT. 2636 currently has a small C-type/beta sunspot group with a tilted E-W magnetic inversion line. No significant flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2636 on February 16 at 14:30 UT is: N11E44 (Solar X = -663", Solar Y = 267")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
