MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2659 produced minor B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B6.8 event at 05/30/19:47 UT. 2659 is now well beyond the west limb. The new target is a region located on the northeastern limb where small leader sunspots are visible. The region was the source of limb occulted B-class events today. The largest was a B6.4 at 05/31/11:40 UT. Additional B-class activity possible with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period. The very large quiescent filament located in the southeastern quadrant at approximately S14E28 disappeared centered around 05/30/12:00 UT.
The position of the target on May 31 at 06:30 UT is: N05E89 (Solar X = -943", Solar Y = 083")
