Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 1 Jun 2017 10:11:04 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The east limb target region (now numbered NOAA 2661) was the source of numerous B-class events and 5 C-class events since the last message. The largest was a C6.6 event at 06/01/01:43 UT. 2661 is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic classification, but it appears to have a beta-gamma magnetic configuration. B- and C-class events probable with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2661 on June 01 at 15:30 UT is: N06E76 (Solar X = -914", Solar Y = 101") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
