Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The decay of NOAA 12661 continues, the region decreasing in both area and number of spots over the past 24 hours. NOAA 12661 was classified as a beta-delta/E-type sunspot group at the start of the UT day, but currently appears to have no delta spot. B-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours, with a chance for low-to-mid C-class events.
The position of NOAA 12661 on 6-Jun-2017 at 19:30 UT is:
N06E02, ( -36", 99" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
