MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues to be very low. The single event since the last message was a B1.7 at 07/20/23:15 UT produced by NOAA 2665 located about 3 days beyond the southwestern limb. The current background x-ray flux is flat at the A4 level. The visible solar disk is spotless. The target filament continues in an active phase. No significant solar flare activity expected anytime soon.
The position of the target filament on July 21 at 06:30 UT is: N28 E39 (Solar X = -526", Solar Y =388")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
