MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2670 has completed west limb passage. The target will switch to a new region rotating over the northeastern limb that was the source of several minor events since the last message. The largest was a C2.7 at 08/14/10:46 UT. This region is displaying dynamic bright H-alpha plage. The region's sunspot group is too close to the limb to ascertain it's magnetic configuration. B-class events expected with the chance of another C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on Aug 14 at 15:00 UT is: N10E85 (Solar X = -930", Solar Y = 154")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
