MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar flare activity has been very low since the last message. The only reportable event was a B2.9 event at 11/27/11:17 UT produced by target region NOAA 2689 (C-type sunspot group with a beta magnetic configuration). 2689 has decayed within its trailing portion. B-class events possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2689 on November 27 at 16:30 UT is: N13W31 (Solar X = 489", Solar Y = 200")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
