Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. The plage region that was known as NOAA 12706 has rotated up to the North West limb. This region was the source of the only flare activity since the last message, producing 2 B1.1 flares on 30-Apr-2018 at 12:53 UT and 19:11 UT. No increase in flaring activity is expected in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 1-May-2018 at 12:00 UT is:
N03W89, ( 950", 51" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
