Subject: MM#009 Default Target" --> Date: Wed, 2 Dec 2020 09:12:49 -0800 MM#009 Default Target Dear Collaborators, The target region is now numbered NOAA 2790. 2790 added a few small leading and trailing polarity spots adjacent to the leader sunspot. 2790 was the source of only two minor B-class events since the last message but appears to have a somewhat unstable magnetic configuration. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C1.4 event at 12/01/23:20 UT produced by NOAA 2786. B- and C-class events possible in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2790 on December 02 at 11:00 UT is: S23E58 (Solar X = -762", Solar Y = -387") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
