Subject: MM#009 Default Target" --> Date: Thu, 7 Jan 2021 18:34:08 +0000 Dear Collaborators, The level of solar activity is still extremely low. There continues to be no sunspots on the visible solar disk. A single A-class flare has occurred from a small bipolar magnetic flux region in the South West quadrant, but the target remains with yesterday's filament. No change in flare activity is expected in the following 24-hour period. The approximate position of this region on 7-Jan-2021 at 18:30 UT is: S22W26 , ( 397", -312" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
