Subject: MM#009 Default Target" --> Date: Thu, 18 Feb 2021 13:26:52 +0000 Dear Collaborators, Solar X-ray flux has increased steadily since the last message due to the appearance of the new active region on the northeast limb. The region has produced several A-class flares as well as a B1.2 flare at 11:45 UT today. The region is still largely behind the limb and so its magnetic configuration is unknown at this time. It shall remain the target region with a good chance for increased, possibly C-level, activity over the next 24 hours. The approximate position of the target region on 18-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is: N22E86, ( -897", 369" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
