Subject: MM#009 Default Target" --> Date: Tue, 18 May 2021 08:41:54 -0700 MM#009 Default Target Dear Collaborators, Target region NOAA 2824 was the source of a dozen B-class events and an isolated C1.1 event at 05/18/02:09 UT. 2824 is too close to the east limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but it appears to be a D-type/beta with some polarity mixing in the leading portion of the region. B-class events certain with C-class events possible in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2824 on May 18 at 15:00 UT is: N18E75 (Solar X = -872", Solar Y = 302") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
