MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity was very low since the last message. The only reportable event was a minor B2.4 event at 06/27/01:01 UT produced by target region NOAA 2835. 2835 has a large E-type/beta sunspot group. The spot group is magnetically simple with a negative polarity leader sunspot and a positive polarity trailing sunspot with only weak mixed polarity within its intermediate portion. Emerging flux is located at S26E38 within the trailing portion of an old decaying spotless plage. The EFR is currently displaying a B-type/beta sunspot group. B-class events probable with only a slight chance of an isolated C-class event  in the next 24 period.
The position of NOAA 2835 on June 27 at 14:00 UT is: S18E44 (Solar X = - 626", Solar Y = -320")
