Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at the B-level since the last message, the largest being a B4.4 flare at 01:20 UT today. The source of the flares remains the partially occulted region currently behind the northeast limb. The region is unnumbered and the magnetic configuration remains uncertain at this time but it shall continue as the target region. Further B-level activity expected over the next 24 hours with chance for a C-class flare as the region rotates into view.
The approximate position of the target region on 19-Jul-2021 at 11:30 UT is:
N24E84, ( -859", 376" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
