Dear Collaborators,
Dear Collaborators, Target region NOAA 2882 produced an isolated M1.6 event at 10/09/06:38 UT. A CME that is likely Earth-directed was associated with the flare event. 2882 was also the source of a C2.7 event at 10/08/19:56 UT. A tiny magnetic delta configuration formed since the last message within the trailing portion of the EFR that is located just north of the large round leader sunspot. The delta configuration is now decaying. C-class events are likely with a slight chance of another isolated M-class event in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 2882 on October 09 at 14:30 UT is: N17E04 (Solar X = -064", Solar Y = 180") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Bill Marquette (Helio Research)
