Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA 12882 has decayed since the last message and although it was designated as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group at the beginning of the UT day, it now appears to have a beta/D-type sunspot classification. NOAA 12882 has continued to produce B-class flares since the last message. Additional B-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for a C-class flare. The position of NOAA 12882 on 10-Oct-2021 at 16:30 UT is: N17W10 , ( 161", 183" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
