NOAA 12924 retains its beta/E-type configuration and shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours. Further B-level activity possible with chance for an isolated C-class flare. The position of NOAA 12924 on 9-Jan-2022 at 16:30 UT is: S31W10, ( 145", -445" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
