Dear Collaborators, Dear Collaborators, Target region NOAA 2934 (S25E18) has been quiescent since the last message. The target will switch to a new region located on the northeastern limb. This region was the source of a few B-class and two C-class events today. The largest event was a C1.1 at 01/24/02:37 UT. The region's sunspot group is too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. B-class events likely with C-class events possible in the next 24 hours. The position of the target region on January 24 at 15:00 UT is: N15E80 (Solar X = -928", Solar Y = 267") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Bill Marquette (Helio Research) |
