Dear Collaborators, Solar activity has increased to C-level since the last message with several events emanating from NOAA 12941. However, the largest event of the past 24 hours was a C5.7 flare from NOAA 12939. NOAA 12941 has continued to increase in size but has decreased in complexity as it has reverted back to a beta class region. It shall continue as the target region with further B- and C-level activity possible. The position of NOAA 12941 on 10-Feb-2022 at 12:30 UT is: N24W12, ( 185", 494" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
