Dear Collaborators, The NOAA 12954/12955 complex has remained quiescent since the last message. There has been B-level activity from an EFR in the northeast quadrant, while a pore close to NOAA 12957 in the southeast quadrant has produced two C-class flares, including a C3.1 at 09:02 UT today. NOAA 12957 and the surrounding area shall be the new target region with further B- and C-level activity possible. The position of NOAA 12957 on 28-Feb-2022 at 12:30 UT is: S13E50, ( -724", -140" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Regards, Ryan Milligan (Queen's University Belfast) |
