Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a low level, with B- and C-class flares emanating from NOAA 12960 in the southeast quadrant. NOAA 12957 retains its beta-gamma configuration, and has shown signs of further flux emergence in its trailing portion, but has remained quiescent. It shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours, with C-level activity possible. The position of NOAA 12957 on 4-Mar-2022 at 12:30 UT is: S15W15, ( 242", -135" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
