Dear Collaborators, Solar activity continues at the B-level. NOAA 12957 has remained quiescent since the last message, and has reverted back to a beta region. The region in the southeast quadrant has been designated as NOAA 12960, and is classified as a beta/D-type region. It continues to produce low-level activity, and has developed significantly over the past 24 hours. It shall be the default target region once again with further low-to-intermediate level activity possible. The position of NOAA 12960 on 5-Mar-2022 at 12:30 UT is: S21E50, ( -693", -271" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
