Dear Collaborators, There has been a series of low C-class flares from a newly-emerged region in the northeast quadrant (NOAA 12962) since the last message. NOAA 12960 in the southeast quadrant has remained quiescent but continues to develop with new flux emergence within its core. It shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours with low-level activity possible. The position of NOAA 12960 on 6-Mar-2022 at 16:30 UT is: S20E35, ( -522", -234" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
