Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a very low level since the last message. Target region NOAA 12965 was the source of a C1.0 (at 03/17/19:06 UT, being the largest event) and two high B-class flares in the past 24 hours. 12965 has decayed to a beta/F-type region, significantly decreasing in the number of spots. Additional C-class activities are expected with a light chance of a low M-class flare in the next few days. The position of NOAA 12965 on March 18 at 08:30 UT is: N24W49 (666", 461") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
