Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C1.3 flare at 03/19/03:49 UT produced by target region NOAA 12965. 12965 also produced seven B-class flares during the period. It retains a beta/F-type configuration but decays further. Additional C-class activities are expected with a slight chance of a low M-class flare when 12965 rotates over the west limb. The position of NOAA 12965 on March 19 at 08:30 UT is: N25W60 (757", 458") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
