Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was a partially occulted C1.2 flare emergent from an east limb region. The target region NOAA 13026 was the source of five B-class flares. 13026 remains its beta/D-type configuration but increases the sunspot area and also number of spots. This region seems to enter its decay phase. B-class activities are expected with a slight chance of a C-class flare in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13026 on June 3 at 11:30 UT is: N15W56 (758", 248") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
